Computers at Cove School support our students’ success by providing both access to the curriculum and software that enables expression and presentation of information learned. Students at Cove can sit at any computer in the school and have access to any software, either academic or assistive technology, that they need to learn and succeed.
Each of our elementary and junior high classrooms has 4 iMacs. As part of our 1:1 laptop program, every high school student has their own MacBook which they receive freshman year and stays with them until their senior year. Students use these laptops both at home and school This supports not only their learning but their executive functioning (organizing their homework and future assignments) .In addition, our computer lab provides access to 12 iMacs for classroom projects and our music/media classroom has 8 iMacs.
